Hi Nether Void,
I would say that we can fulfill all of your requirements except perhaps the roleplaying. So to tackle them:
- A US based presence (I'm on pacific time) ----We have a fairly even split of Americans and Europeans in the corp
- Teamspeak ----We do use teamspeak
- Organized events, preferrably scheduled ----We have organised mining sessions, particularly in 0.0 space. We also have members who have access to level 4 agents and are happy to organise groups to tackle these missions
- A website with at least a slightly active message board ----We have an active forum webite that has very helpful and knowledgable people. Even many ex-members still use our forum and our public chat channel as a meeting area.
- Clear, specific goals that include claiming a section of 0.0 (one system, a whole region, size doesn't matter, even if it means joining an alliance or empire - something to protect and call its own) ----The TOGCO corp has a very strong dream, that of creating a free and open Great Widlands. I was first attract to the corp because there seemed to be a really clear goal and the leadership to get there. This is the most exciting of times as we have never been closer to fulfilling that dream. With the collapse of the Curse Alliance and the signing of a Mutaul Defence Pact with the Keiretsu peace is finally breaking out in the Great Wildlands.
- Possibly an empire presence (as I can't live in 0.0 as of yet) We still have plenty of memebers that work out of empire space and have numerous offices to back them up.
- A military presence willing to go to war, if necessary (not just military escorts) We have been in a war with the Curse Alliance and then the Keiretsu for a long as anyone cares to remember so no worries there. As I said, peace is now starting to come to the Great Widlands but this is 0.0 space so war is never far away. We are currently having trouble with a single corp.
- The goal and capabilities to, eventually or currently, go to war - Blow up stuff! =) Like I said, we have plenty of experience in this and the organisation and manufacturing base to back it up. Not so long ago a fleet from the unofficial alliance that we are a memeber of, The Foundation, managed to destroy most of a Player Owned Structure and that takes some doing I can tell you. Took us quite a while. And I was there to see it. Great stuff.
- A good mix of industrial and military presence The corp is split roughly into 2 branches, the industrialist and the fighters. We have some strong memebers in both. Some of our members have been playing since 2003. Not much about the game these guys don't know.
- A place where I can contribute and help grow the corp ----I joined the corp only about 3 months ago and I've already got this highly responsible job. lol. Seriously, if you want to continue with the industrial side of the game then we have some serious plans that you can help with but if you want to try PvP then all help is always greatfully received.
If any of this sounds interesting then feel free to visit our forums: here
And drop into our public channel: TOGCO (Been a bit quiet in there recently as we now have a shared channel with the Foundation and the Keiretsu, but don't want any of them guys nicking you. lol. So just drop into TOGCO and announce yourself, someone should help.)
Obviously, if I'm on I'm happy to talk.
You can also check out our recruitment post for more details about us and our dream: here
Hope to speak to you soon,
